These annoying little mechanicals change themselves to act as critters.
It took me a while to work out how to beat them with less than three pets. So I did it with one instead!
It's a slow fight but short of really bad RNG, it's soloable and you can even put two leveling pets in.
Make sure the pets are about level 11 plus
Pets Used
Lash, Photosynthesis & Sunlight
If you've spent at the Blizz Shop a
with Ironbark instead of Lash is slightly better
How to
Start with Photosynthesis then Sunlight.
Cast Sunlight on cooldown while there are pets still alive in the back row other than that keep the weather effect up. Keep Photosynthesis up at all times, even cast it a round early if Sunlight is about to come off cooldown.
When the two Protectorbots cast their Ion Cannon, put your leveling pet in for one round during the first round of recovery.
If Blingtron gets really RNG lucky you may not make it through solo. This has only happened to me once though.
